Creating space

Creating space
7 February, 2017 ASCÉNDER

Let us show you one of our latest jobs with our partner Hugon Tribunes in the French cit of La Rochelle. A brand new space designed to transform the former church of  Chapelle Fromentin into the home of the Chorégraphique National de La Rochelle – and all this thanks to a very particular telescopic tribune that not only provides with seating to the spectators but also with the access corridor!

One of the advantages of our bleachers is they are custom made, as the rest of our products: we are able to adapt ourselves to almost any requirement. Like here, where we were requested to create a gallery at the rear of the venue, space for the soundboards and a corridor in the middle of the hall that had to be created by the tribune!

And same for the finishes: LED lighting, carpet flooring, foldable side railings and melamine boards for the interior sides of the corridor.

For this bleacher we proposed our Space Max retráctil with fully upholstered seat and back and solid wooden arms: it is a chair of just 170mm envelope when seat & back are closed. Then the chair folds forward and offers the necessary space for the tribune to move without trouble.
