The Stade Vélodrome,opened in 1937, is undergoing a complete makeover before the 2016 Euro Soccer Cup. The Stade Vélodrome went down in the sports and architecture history for being the first stadium built in cement. It was built to host the 1938 Soccer World Cup, the second in history and the last before the Second World War. Currently, the Stade Vélodrome is reinvented itself to host the final of the 2016 Euro Cup. ASCÉNDER has been responsible for furnishing all particulars required at the vip areas. ASCÉNDER provided their seats for the boxes offices and the presidential, as well as for the players benches. More than 1,400 Club customized seats were installed with double arms and cupholders. A major effort was made to provide a skai tissue with fire retardant properties to overcome the demanding French standard AM 18, and resistant to ultraviolet rays, like the shells. The Stade Vélodrome establishes itself as one of the most important stadiums in Europe.
