The Poznań International Fair (PIF, Polish: Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie, MTP) is the biggest industrial fair in Poland and is held on the Poznań fairground since 1921. Thus, it is one of the European towns with the longest trade fair traditions as its origins date back as far as 1254 when Poznań was granted a privilege by Przemysl the First. Thanks to the telescopic construction of the auditorium (known as Sala Ziemi) and mobile walls, the arrangement of seats can be modified adapting the hall to the needs of the event with a capacity of 2,000 people.
